To participate in this program you don't need a shopping cart. When a shopper wishes to make a purchase from your site, he will click on a link which will take him to our shopping cart. When he makes his purchase, our affiliate tracking software will credit your account with the sale. (Even if he doesn't make a purchase immediately, but comes back months later, you will still be credited with the sale.) You will receive 15% of every sale that originates from your site, as well as an additional 5% for second tier sales -- these are sales made by anyone who comes from your site and who also signs up as an affiliate.







  • The first step is to join by clicking HERE. (It doesn't cost a cent to join.)

  • When you have joined and you have received a confirmation e-mail, you can log into your account using the user name and password provided. You will also be taken to a page that gives instructions for how to add links to your website. We are not encouraging our partners to use banners (see below) for the mask because banners by themselves are futile. In fact, they are worse than futile, they are counter productive. Retinal studies have shown that shoppers avoid banners. Their eyes actually look away.

    • In his free Affiliate Masters Course, Ken Evoy points out that affiliates "who rely on banners have an average conversion rate of 0.5%. But those who use "in-context" text links (i.e., text links that are part of the content of the Web page) average over 3.5%!"

    This means you will have 7 times more shoppers and make 7 time more money if you use descriptive text, rather than just banners by themselves.

  • It is imperative that you copy and use the code exactly as it appears because this is the mechanism that tracks the sales originating from your site. Your payment, therefore, depends on it.

  • As an affiliate, it is your job to pre-sell the mask, so that the customer will be in a receptive frame of mind when she clicks on the link to our site. You don't need to over do it, but just putting up our banner, without any sort of text, will produce disappointing results. You should have just enough information to stimulate curiosity so that the shopper will take the next step.

    Here's an example to show you what I mean:

    Are you prepared for a bird flu pandemic? Leading virologists the world over are saying that we're overdue for one and that the H5N1 virus that's currently spreading around the world could well be the trigger. We urge you to become as informed as you can. For up to date news and a free newsletter, visit www.SurviveTheFlu.com

    In the above example you would embed www.SurviveTheFlu.com with your affiliate link, which would tag the shopper with a cookie to identify where he came from. This is how you get credited with any sales that are made by shoppers who are referred from your site.


  • We pay our partners once per month, providing your commissions are at least $50. If they're not, then your earnings will accumulate until they have reached $50 and will be paid out at the end of that pay period. For those partners whose commissions exceed $500 in a two week period, we will pay every two weeks.

  • You can log into your account HERE at any time to review your earnings and payouts.

    But...sales don't happen by accident. You'll need to become pro-active in promoting the mask in order to reap $$$. Just putting up a banner is almost futile. Shoppers want information. They want to know why they should click on the link that will take them to our website. Most affiliates have had great success with product reviews. (In that respect, you should definately order the mask if you haven't already, so that you know what you're talking about.)

    There are tons of newsgroups that are related to the bird flu. Join them and get in on the discussions. But please ...don't spam! Just contribute to whatever the discussions are. Your sig file will do the selling for you.
